Professor Berkman at Hadassah Medical Center is currently doing research on a possible genetic connection to pulmonary hypertension. There are other studies being done as well, to see if there really is a genetic link between family members with this disease, what the problem is; and to attempt to control those mechanisms. Donating blood samples to his study will help increase the accuracy of Prof. Berkman’s results and hopefully, in the long run, will benefit current and future patients.
