More and more ways of treating the disease have been found over the years. As time goes by you will get used to the different way of life, but you should not think that this means you cannot enjoy a good quality of life.
Remember that you are not in this alone! There are many men, women, and children with this disease and we are here to help keep you informed and to provide ongoing support. As of yet, no cure has been found for the disease, however, there are a number of medications which help treat and manage the disease and its symptoms, prevent a decline in health, and increase your quality life.
